Role Description
This is a full-time role where the successful candidate will have a strong background in Aviation and Maritime Survival Equipment maintenance. The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail.
Working closely with the Head of Support Services & Training, this role is pivotal in ensuring the operational and maintenance deliverables of the company are met efficiently, effectively, economically and in full.
This role will require the successful candidate to work away onsite with our customers and will involve overnight stays away from home address.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute positively to operational and maintenance planning to ensure that the company achieves its short, medium, and long-term objectives.
- Conduct maintenance tasks on items of Survival and Pilot Flight equipment such as Aircrew Flying Helmets, Life Preservers etc. to the required standard.
- To contribute positively to the quality ethos of the business.
- Ensure that robust stock control and inventory management is always carried out and notifying the Head of Business Administration & Finance of any discrepancies, anomalies, or requirements to order more stock.
- Working with the Head of Support Services & Training to ensure that customers are always supplied with the right quantities and types of goods.
- Working with the Head of Support Services & Training to ensure that customers are always supplied with the right levels of service/maintenance provision, on-time and in full.
- Ensure that positive relationships are maintained with customers.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all other members of staff to ensure effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
- Extensive Survival and Pilot Flight Equipment maintenance experience essential.
- Previous military Survival Equipment trade knowledge desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent inter-personal and negotiating skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent decision making skills.
- Must be 25 years + and hold a full driving license.
- Be open and willing to learn new skills.
- Be open to new challenges.
