With more than 40 years experience in the field of Survival Equipment, Glyn Copperwheat has amassed a wealth of expertise in Aircrew Equipment Assemblies and Survival Equipment on a wide variety of training, fast jet and rotary wing aircraft.
As his career developed his responsibilities included trade management, quality auditing and audit report writing, subject matter expertise, integration and trialling of new and modified AEA, trade training and mentoring of junior trades people to become advanced technicians and skilled trade managers. He has worked in many areas of the UK, the Falklands and the USA .
More recently Glyn has gained extensive experience working in the Arabian Gulf region, providing technical excellence for Life Support Equipment maintenance for fast jet instructors and student pilots; he conducted initial and advanced training of military and civilian Life Support technicians, as well as supervisory and trade management training. During his previous employment, his vast experience was used to establish Life Support section standardisation and the development of quality improvement processes.
